At an all-church workshop in January, 2015, over 50 UUCB community members decided on an additional congregational focus and commitment—to END INEQUALITY.
Over the next months, a newly formed End Inequality Leadership Team gathered input from the congregation, formed study groups based on members’ priorities, and presented recommendations for congregational action. The Team sponsored a variety of educational presentations, and worked closely with the Working For Justice Steering Group during this period.
In June of 2017, the two groups, End Inequality and Working for Justice, integrated their efforts, with End Inequality goals becoming an explicit part of the Working For Justice Steering Group’s mission.
