FRED SMALL – 11/8/25
Named by Pete Seeger as one of America’s best songwriters, Fred Small “sings songs of conscience in the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Phil Ochs, and Tom Paxton. Fred is also a UU Minister who wrote the inclusive lullaby of unconditional love, “Everything Possible,” which has become a standard of LGBT choruses worldwide.

UUCB’s own Ren Bernier is the leader of this band who plays a mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass, Americana, and some “bluegrassified” folk and country songs. You’ll hear great music to get your toes tapping and silly banter to keep you laughing.
JUD CASWELL and LISA REDFERN – 2/7/26
UUCB’s own Jud Cas’swell will share the stage with Lisa Redfern. Both are award-winning singer-songwriters and favorites of the local folk scene. as well as folk festivals around the country for years. Both have had a slew of successful recordings. Jud’s “Live at the Seagull Shop” was the number 1 album on the Folk Alliance International radio charts in March of 2020.
