Visit Us
If you are new to UUCB or to Unitarian Universalism, there are many ways to become better acquainted with our community and its guiding principles. The first step is to come to a service. You can read beforehand about what to expect in our services.
Learn about Our Faith
If you are interested in learning more about UUCB, we encourage you to attend our Newcomer Chat or one of our Newcomer Potlucks. If you are interested in learning about becoming a member of UUCB, we encourage you to participate in our two part You & UU workshop sessions. This workshop provides a chance to reflect on your individual spiritual journey, as well as to learn about the history of Unitarian Universalism, discuss Unitarian Universalist beliefs, and learn more about our congregation at UUCB. The emphasis is on fun, information, and getting to know other people who are new to the church. Both sessions of You & UU are generally offered in the late fall and early Spring May, in person at UUCB. Childcare is provided as needed.
Meet with our Minister
If you are considering becoming a member, our minister would like to get to know you better and to answer your questions. To arrange a time to meet with Rev. Kharma, please email her at .
Membership
When you feel UUCB has become your spiritual home, we would be honored to receive you as a new member and ask you to sign our membership book. Membership at UUCB is a covenant among equals, defined by the bonds and relationships we create together as a Spiritual community. Choosing to become a member of UUCB means that you feel this church makes a difference in your life, giving it greater strength, depth, significance, and direction. It means you feel a sense of belonging and commitment to the liberal religious values this church represents and are willing to participate in and support the life and work of the congregation. If you’re not yet sure, that’s fine. We respect your process and welcome your questions. Please contact a member of our Membership Committee to learn more.
