Join us for a morning of training activities and discussions about how we can best live out our mission “To Welcome All” by hospitably accepting, encouraging, and engaging with every person who comes to our community. Our covenant to Center Love in our individual lives, in our congregations, and through our work in the world provides us with continual opportunities to reflect on how we are treating each person we encounter as worthy of dignity and respect.
This training will include a brief overview of dynamics related to diversity and multi-culturalism, tips for personal awareness regarding activation by fear or discomfort, and other spiritual practices for helping ourselves and one another balance our desire to welcome all while also keeping ourselves and one another as safe as possible.
