handy WorkAge-appropriate groups (Pre-K-grade 1, grades 2-3, grades 4-5, and grades 6-8) are led by teams of volunteer teachers and leaders who are members and friends of the congregation.

Children ages 4 through 8th grade begin each Sunday as service participants in the santuary for the 9:15 a.m. service. They then proceed with their teachers and leaders to their respective RE classes in Pennell House at about 9:30.

Nursery care is available in Pennell House from the start of the service for children under 4 years.

All children must be picked up at 10:45 in Pennell House.

The Senior High youth group (grades 9-12) meets regularly on Sunday evenings. Senior High youth are encouraged to attend Sunday morning services or are invited to sign up to work with the adult caregiver in the nursery.

A Religious Education prospectus detailing our curricula and programs for all ages and registration information are available at any time by contacting the church office.

Our Director of Religious Education (DRE)  is Nicole Shanks.  Nicole has a strong background in youth education and programming, including two years as Director of Lifespan Religious Education at the UU Church in Bangor.
