New families are invited to meet with the Director of Religious Education (DRE) at any time during the year for a tour of our facilities and/or a get-acquainted chat, either at the church or at their home.
We invite families just discovering Unitarian Universalism to join us for several weeks to decide if our Church and Religious Exploration program is right for them. Parents are welcome at any time to "sit in" on their child's class or to join us at Circle. Circle encapsulates the format of adult church for our youth in an age appropriate format. The format typically includes a chalice lighting, sharing our weekly joys and concerns, passing the collection plate, singing and a short talk.
Newcomer orientations are offered by the minister several times a year. A packet of information for new families is available upon request from the Director or Religious Education.
