The mission of the Parish Care Network is to involve the entire
UUCB congregation in the mutual care of members and friends who are in need of material, emotional, or spiritual support during times of difficulty or in times of transition and crisis. While we do not offer nursing care, counseling or other professional services, we strive to provide
short-term care and assistance to parishioners who are sick, grieving, shut-in, in need of transportation, or just need a word of encouragement, a hug, or a smile.
If you know a church member or friend who needs our care or support, please email the Church Administrator or call her at 729-8515. She will contact Helen Johnson who will determine how to proceed.
If you would like to be one of the volunteers who provides care – e.g. provides food, transportation, sends cards, telephones or visits people – contact Helen Johnson.
