"Oh, my God!"
Maintain a regular spiritual practice.
When you fall away from it, don't beat yourself up.
Instead, resume the practice as soon as you can.
"No one is an island."
Keep love relationships and collegial bonds strong and healthy.
Reach out when you feel lost.
Be available to colleagues who need support and comfort.
"It's about them, not you!"
Leave your ego out of it.
Take nothing personally.
Let the Spirit work through you for the good of all life.
"Stay out of the swamp."
Let your emotions range freely, but don't get bogged down.
Take regular breaks.
If you get stuck in quicksand, seek help.
"Don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff."
Maintain good boundaries about the things you worry about
and the people you serve.
"Laughter is a balm."
Embrace the funny moments with all your heart.
Laugh from the belly up.
Let your laughter reach the whole sky.
