Introduction: Rev Stocker invites the children of our congregation to come up front to hear stories of three extraordinary people from around the world. Using pictures from the "Guest at Our Table" cube, Rev. Stocker tells how one person from New Orleans, another from Nirobe, Africa and the Republic of Ecuador did good work, helping others. Finally, she brings it home by framing a special guest at her table called Sylvia.
The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee serves as a backdrop to these stories, and it serves to support worker's rights for a living wage and defending their rights when affected by disasters.
