The Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick governs itself through annual meetings of the congregation held the second Monday in May. The conduct of day-to-day affairs is carried forward through an elected Board of Trustees, a volunteer committee structure, and our minister, with assistance from part-time staff members, including our Director of Religious Exploration, and Church Office Administrator.
Board of Trustees
Responsible for overall operation of the church.
Finance Committee
Managing the church's budgets and investments.
Membership Committee
Supporting the life and growth of the congregation; making newcomers, friends and members welcomed.
Committee on Ministry
Strengthening the quality of ministry within the congregation.
Music Committee
Supporting music in the church.
Personnel Committee
Responsible for the recommendation of policies and procedures governing employment relationships between the church and its paid personnel.
Properties Committee
Overseeing repair, maintenance, improvement and management of church properties.
Religious Exploration committee
Creating religious education programs that meet the needs and wishes of the congregation.
Social Justice Committee
Providing information regarding issues of social justice; facilitating member involvement in social action.
Worship Committee
Assisting in the planning and promoting of quality, meaningful worship services.
